SkyWatcher EXPLORER 130 PDS Niutono reflektorius komplektuojamas su tokiu pat paraboliniu veidrodžiu, kaip ir Explorer 130P Black Diamond Serijos teleskopai, bet su keliais labai žymiais patobulinimais. Dviejų greičių 10:1 fokusatorius skirtas greitam ir tiksliam objektų sufokusavimui. Teleskopo vamzdis yra kiek patrumpintas, pritaikant jį astrofotografijai (prime focus) . Taip pat prie šio teleskopo vamzdžio rekomenduojame naudoti SkyWatcher kompanijos komos korektorių. Teleskopui rekomenduojama EQ3 Pro Synscan GoTo ar didesnė montuotė.
